Fat freezing
Is fat freezing permanent?
What happens to treated fat cells, how many sessions you may need and how to maintain your result.

Cryolipolysis was developed from research at Harvard Medical School into the effect of controlled cooling on fat cells. Cooled fat cells break down and are gradually cleared by the body. Fat cells that have been removed do not come back. Remaining fat cells can still grow if your weight increases, so a healthy lifestyle helps you keep your result.
How long does a session take?
Most cryolipolysis sessions take around 50 minutes per area. Sometimes two sides can be treated at the same time. If your appointment includes a consultation, allow roughly 30 minutes extra.
What happens during treatment?
A protective gel pad is placed on the skin, then the applicator draws the area in. It feels cold and pulling at first, and after about ten minutes the area usually becomes numb. Many clients experience the session as a quiet moment for themselves.
Can I treat several areas in one day?
Yes, you can book a double appointment for two different areas. The same area is not treated twice in a row, because your body needs time, often around two months, to clear the treated fat cells.
How many sessions will I need?
Every body is different, so this is hard to predict in advance. Many clients are happy after two or three sessions. During the consultation we give you an honest estimate based on your areas and goals.
When will I see results?
A gradual reduction often becomes visible after three to five weeks, with the full result after around three months. Drinking enough water and staying active supports the natural process.
Do I need to follow a diet?
No special diet is needed. Cryolipolysis is about reducing local fat, not about losing weight, so a varied, healthy diet is the best way to maintain your result.
