Cooling process
Placement of the treatment head does not require anaesthesia. The skin with subcutaneous fat layer is sucked into the treatment head, after which the fat cells are cooled with a temperature of -9°C. In the first few minutes of treatment, a tingling or stinging sensation may be experienced. This sensation goes away after the skin becomes numb from the cold. The fat cells themselves reach a temperature of 2 to 4 degrees through this process. The process takes about 50 minutes. After the cooling process is complete, the treatment head is taken off and the treated area is massaged intensively for two minutes. After this, the skin may be red, but this often disappears in half an hour.
