RB Clinics works with the Clatuu Alpha, a CE and FDA certified cryolipolysis device. The 360 degree cooling technology cools the entire treatment area, so every fat cell in that zone is targeted.

Treatment plan
During the consultation we agree together which zones to treat, how many sessions are needed and what it will cost.

Marking and gel pad
The treatment areas are marked and protected with a gel pad, after which the Clatuu Alpha applicator is placed.
- 03
Cooling process
The fat cells are cooled to minus 9 degrees for around 50 minutes. After the first few minutes you barely feel anything.

Massage and clearance
Afterwards we massage the area for two minutes so the crystallised fat cells release and begin to clear.

What is fat freezing?
Fat freezing, also known as cryolipolysis, permanently removes fat cells by exposing the skin to a constant temperature of minus 9 degrees. The fat cells crystallise, die off and are naturally cleared by the body. The first results appear after three to five weeks.
Does fat freezing actually work?
Research from Harvard Medical School shows that fat cells die off under constant cooling. The effectiveness of cryolipolysis is therefore backed by science.
Is fat freezing dangerous?
There is no cutting or injecting and no anaesthetic is needed. The skin is protected with high quality gel pads. Only fat cells respond to the cold; other cells, the skin and organs are not damaged.
Am I a suitable candidate?
Your BMI is the key factor. With a BMI of 32 or higher you generally cannot be treated. During the consultation we discuss your health, medical history and goals to see if you qualify.
How does a treatment work?
We first take photos, mark the area and apply a gel pad. Then we place the treatment heads. After fifty minutes we remove the heads and massage the area for two minutes so the crystallised fat cells release.
How long does a session take?
A session with the Clatuu Alpha takes about fifty minutes. Including preparation, marking and the massage, you'll be in the clinic for around an hour.
What do I feel during the treatment?
In the first minutes you feel a pulling or tingling sensation as the skin is drawn into the applicator and cooled. After around five minutes that fades and you feel almost nothing.
When will I see results?
After the first session the result becomes visible after three to five weeks. The body continues clearing the treated fat cells for up to twelve weeks after treatment.
Is there any downtime?
No. You can go straight back to your daily routine. The treatment doesn't hold you back in any way.
Is the result permanent?
The treated fat cells are permanently removed, so the result lasts. A healthy lifestyle remains important alongside it.
Which zones can be treated?
From chin to knee. Think of the double chin, underarms, chest, arms, waist, abdomen, back and bra fat, love handles, hips and knees.
