The difference
Surgical versus non-surgical
With liposuction, fat is removed surgically through small incisions, under general or local anaesthetic. That brings downtime and the risks of surgery, such as infection.
With cryolipolysis there is no cutting or injecting. Fat cells are frozen in a controlled way with the Clatuu Alpha and then cleared naturally by the body.
What this means for you
Less invasive, a more gradual result
Cryolipolysis requires no downtime: you can carry on with your day straight after treatment. The result becomes visible gradually over the following weeks as the body clears the fat cells.
Liposuction typically gives a more immediate, visible result, but requires downtime and carries surgical risks. Which approach fits best depends on your situation and goals.

Is fat freezing dangerous?
There is no cutting or injecting and no anaesthetic is needed. The skin is protected with high quality gel pads. Only fat cells respond to the cold; other cells, the skin and organs are not damaged.
Am I a suitable candidate?
Your BMI is the key factor. With a BMI of 32 or higher you generally cannot be treated. During the consultation we discuss your health, medical history and goals to see if you qualify.
Is there any downtime?
No. You can go straight back to your daily routine. The treatment doesn't hold you back in any way.
